Shokz Bone Conducting Headphones

Last year in 2022 I was hit by a car walking, the struggle to come back is still ongoing and may take years. I wasn’t using any headphones or looking at my phone to distract me from the World around us, I call these people “Urban Zombies” big cup headphones and in another World “Zombie”. This made me think and a present to me this year was a pair of Open Run Pro Shokz.. First I thought What! Then I realized how useful they are, You can listen to music podcast and still hear the surroundings WOW, these are Awesome and most photos of me have these around my neck.

So I can listen to music, a call comes in……. Ring Ring Ring… (my version of the old telephone) I can answer the call, by the way my phone is in the house an i am outside washing the Smart Car…. finished the call and back to my music. Easy ?

  • I have also used them for work taking calls effectively.

  • Awesome for what they are designed for exercising

  • The neck band does not bounce around like i have seen some headphones that go around the neck.

  • Never lose a pod ( I could say those ipod thimngies are expensive , oh i did)

Just some of the reviews..

The Shokz OpenRun are the flagship bone conduction headphones from Shokz, a company which changed its name from AfterShokz in December 2021.

Shokz has been in the running headphones game for a few years now, and in that time it’s had one goal; to build open ear headphones you can run, cycle and work out with, all without entirely blocking out the world around you.

The Shokz OpenRun (formerly known as the AfterShokz Aeropex) are the second best bone conduction sports headphones you can buy right now—the best are the Pro version. They are more expensive than previous models and deliver a noticeable, albeit slight jump up in sound quality. The slimmer design and improved battery life though are the reasons that will convince you it’s worth spending a bit more.

What more can i say they are perfect.

PS if you say they are not noise cancelling and you can hear too much surrounding sound, then that is their purpose so you don’t get hit by a car, scooter, or cyclist while running.
